I’ve been knee deep in toilet design this particular month, so I thought I would share what’s on my desk. The job I am working on is a renovation of a complete bath in a 1910s bungalow outside of Boston. In its current state, it is a small space. We are pushing out a wall to make an authentic”master bath” while trying to maintain the architectural integrity of the house as a complete with the option of finishes and fixtures. Enjoy! — Stephanie from SabbeSpot

Amazon

Hansgrohe Raindance S Showerpipe, Chrome – $852.49

I am using this faucet system on a job this month. The vulnerable valve gives it a very classic look, but the blank lines allow it to work in very contemporary spaces.

Amazon

Victorian Two-Handle Wall Mounted Faucet, Cross Handle, Polished Chrome – $320.87

I am also applying this faucet onto a current bathroom renovation. I really like it because it is so timeless, but the fact that it is wall mounted gives it a small modern twist.

Amazon

Kingston Brass Vintage Leg Tub Filler with Wall Angle Arm, Polished Chrome – $214.70

Per Massachusetts State Building Code, a faucet must provide water to a tub over the water level. I’m using this man on a 100-year-old whirlpool bathtub. It’s updated and new, but it blends right in with the present pieces.

Modern Bathroom Sinks – $350

I adore the look of large, old farmhouse sinks. For the identical job I’ve said, this man will sit along with a Carrara marble slab and also vintage vanity. The overflow value (also a code requirement from the state of Massachusetts) was what made this a fantastic find.

Faucet Direct

Hansgrohe 16570 Axor Montreux Pressure Balanced Shower – $1,428.70

I really like Hansgrohe products. I believe the vulnerable valve systems are fantastic for having the ability to provide modern conveniences, like a rain shower, although still maintaining a very classic look.

Faucet Direct

Kingston Brass CC78T Double Handle Wall Mounted Clawfoot Tub Filler Faucet – $175.47

This is a great fixture to update an old clawfoot tub.

Amazon

Carrara Marble Italian White Bianco Carrera Marble Subway Tile Honed – $7.65

This Amazon seller offers quite affordable Carrera marble tiles, along with all the trim pieces. I’ve not purchased from this provider, but they have tons of great reviews, which is an excellent benefit to shopping on Amazon.

Amazon

Carrara Marble Italian White Bianco Carrera Bullnose Pencil Molding Honed – $5.99

The coordinating pencil trimming also comes in a excellent cost. (Just to give you an idea, many retailers sell these for $12 to $14 per slice.) I really like Carrara; it will never go out of style.

Amazon

Bianco Carrara White Marble Honed Mini Hexagon Mosaic Tile – $54

Mosaic tiles for the shower floor are a must so that you may find the appropriate pitch to the drain. Hexagons are my favorite.

Amazon

Carrara Marble Italian White Bianco Carrera Herringbone Mosaic Tile Polished – $11.95

Carrara is timeless, and Carrara in a herringbone pattern is perfection.

Wilmette Hardware

Custom Made Shower Door Handle, Polished Nickel

One of my greatest pet peeves is when classic toilet designs get the boring, old, polished chrome shower pull. I adore this knob so much. It’s a custom piece, but it’s one of the very gorgeous details I’ve seen, regarding shower doors, in quite a while.

KnobDeco

Myterra Crystal Quartz Glass Shower Door Knob – $140

This really is a searchable alternate to the very pleasant, quite custom shower door knob over. I am using this one in my current job. I can not wait to view it!

Amazon

Elizabethan Classics Model SOSL Single Offset Bath Supplies, Chrome – $49.23

When jazzing up an old toilet, don’t forget about the exposed piping, even if you’re lucky and possess it. These chrome fittings are fantastic.

Schoolhouse Electric

Princeton Senior – $199

I am using two of these over the vanity in a few of my endeavors. I like many distinct varieties of those swing-arm sconces, but this is the only one I’ve seen that has a glass shade choice. With an Edison bulb, it’s actually going to help give the toilet a traditional allure.

Schoolhouse Electric

Satellite Wall Sconce – $125

This is an excellent, less-fussy sconce option. Again, the Edison bulb is what sold me.

Lowe’s

6-Light Distressed Iron Chandelier

I came across this particular fixture when looking for something to go over the clawfoot tub. I don’t quite have the ceiling height for it, but it’s a fantastic fixture with an awesome price.

Lighting Showplace

1 Light Outdoor Pendant in the Marrakech Collection – $83

I looked at this fixture to go over the whirlpool bathtub. It is a really affordable take on a really classic fixture.

Lighting Showplace

Outdoor Pendant in the Maritime Collection – $79.20

I considered this fixture as an choice to flank the vanity. It is a charming design with a fantastic price point.

Lowe’s

Bronze Edison Pendant Light with Clear Shade – $118

This fixture has a very hand-blown look with its irregular shape. It is easy, charming and incredibly priced. The very best thing is that it has 10 reviews on the site and can be rated a 5 out of 5. There’s nothing better for reassuring customers than having the ability to inform them that 10 others purchased it, loved it and came back to tell about it.

Lowe’s

Nickel Mini Pendant Light

Lowe’s was really bringing it in the lighting department recently. I looked at this fixture to flank the sides of the vanity mirror. I like the thought of this nickel finish from the reflective surface of the mirror.
